Recently, the first batch of 50 tons of egg powder produced by Jiangsu Tiancheng Egg Industry Co., Ltd. was officially shipped for export to the EU market. This milestone marks the company’s successful completion of the EU’s stringent food safety and quality system certification, granting its egg powder products a “pass” to enter this premium market.

In September, Tiancheng Egg Industry obtained EU registration qualification. It is reported that the egg powder products being exported this time primarily include whole egg powder and egg yolk powder. These products are made from high-quality fresh eggs sourced locally and processed using internationally advanced pasteurization and low-temperature spray-drying technologies, which help to preserve the eggs’ original nutritional content and flavor characteristics to the greatest extent possible. The products will be mainly used in industries such as baked goods, confectionery and chocolate, ice cream, and high-end catering in Europe.

The EU market is renowned for its stringent entry standards for food products, particularly those of animal origin, which involve hundreds of testing requirements covering aspects such as production environment, raw material control, processing techniques, microbiological indicators, drug residues, and traceability systems.
